More images from a game to show you as Gamescom continues to dump assets on us at an alarming rate. This time they’re renders (original file sizes were over 5000 pixels wide) from the hugely exciting new Tomb Raider reboot. Despite recent controversies with the attempted sexual assault scene shown at E3, this game is looking like a fantastic reboot for the franchise with some really interesting themes and emotional motivations.
As far as we know, this is still coming in March 2013.

Looking great, whatever about the influence Uncharted might have i’m looking forward to a less rigid/forced climbing mechanic and hopefully having more freedom to explore in Tomb Raider.

Ah, how we treat the fairer sex… If Drake was ties up, I’m sure they’d take away his phone/walkie-talkie. Villains always give the ladies a better chance!
All in all, it’s definitely looking good. Will be on my list to by as soon as the TSA review hits the fan (assuming it’s good).

Yes, this is top of my most wanted list. Really intrigued by the survival setup and the chance to explore Tomb Raider from a slightly different direction.

Looks great. The whole “torture porn” marketing approach is completely unnecessary but otherwise I cannot wait for this game.

I don’t see it as torture porn marketing at all. It’s just realistic character building. Films do this kind of thing all the time and they aren’t referred too as torture porn (well the non-torture porn ones aren’t)

How is that bow floating around that man? if it’s over his shoulder and behind his arm (which is tied up) then it should be hanging at his armpit and she wouldn’t be able to get it off with out cutting the rope around his wrist on the bow.
