Next Skyrim DLC Announced, Dated and Named Hearthfire

Bethesda has just sent through a press release to announce the next round of Skyrim DLC. It’s called Hearthfire and it’ll be available on the Xbox 360 on September 6th. It’s going to cost 400MSP and will allow you to build your own house and adopt children.

There’s no word of a PC release date and the PS3 version is also absent, which is to be expected, considering those users are still awaiting news on the first DLC pack, Dawnguard arriving on their console.

  1. i think i’ll wait and get the GOTY edition when they release it, they will eventually.

one of my favourite games of this year, alongside Xenoblade.

and this dlc looks cool, right up my street actually.

  2. Any idea what the sales split by platform is? Just curious with Elder Scrolls historically being a PC title but the dlc is going to the XBox first, how did the main Skyrim sales compare.

    • I think 70-80% of the sales were on the 360 whilst 10-15% on the PC with the PS3 having 10-5% of the sales.

    • 59% on 360
      27% on PS3
      14% on PC
Nothing official but that’s the best I could find.
