War of the Roses is due out soon. It’s scheduled for October 2nd and before then, Paradox Interactive is running a beta program. It’s a multiplayer, team-based action game set amidst the War of the Roses in which the houses of Lancaster and York fought each other over the throne.
We’ve got 500 beta codes to give away and all you’ve got to do to get your digital fingers wrapped around one is fill out this handy form. A code will then be emailed to you, usually within a few hours.

Been playing this for quite a while now. Decent concept, though the beta has been plagued by constant imbalance; hopefully this is sorted before the final product launches.

What a great idea for a game, fabulous slice of history to capture & such a change from games that must have American involvement or appeal directly to the American market which isn’t great for gaming, not even Americans who crave variety.
