The big day is nearly here. That’s right, the Eurogamer Expo is nearly upon us but it’s not the Thursday I’m excited for, it’s Wednesday night at about 8.30pm that has me stoked. That’s when I’ll arrive in That London, likely a little disheveled, and rock up at TSA’s EGX house. On that night it’s only going to be myself, Peter and Davs from One Hit Pixel, a former writer and good friend of the site who’s staying a night or two, in the house, but even with just the three of us there’s a good chance of shenanigans arising.
Alex talked about some of this element of the show for us last year but his point really does still stand. I haven’t seen anyone from our little TSA family for a year now, and knowing that I’ll be hanging out with fantastic people in just a few days is surely a cause for celebration. However, you’re probably far more interested in the show itself, and what we’ll be doing there.
[drop]I felt that last year we provided good coverage of the show, particularly in our video content. This year we’re hoping to ramp the video content up a bit and give you a little more insight into what individual writers think about what EGX has to offer, as well as keeping up the generally ridiculous nature of things.Peter has, in a fit of madness, set up a UStream account, which we’ll hopefully be using to provide live podcasts. If everything goes to plan you’ll get to see the TSA crew, and a grab bag of friends of the site, live as we record the podcast.
You can watch as we break down into fits of laughter, marvel at the astonishing quantity of beer we consume, and wonder as I down energy drink after energy drink in an attempt to keep it all together. I haven’t decided what this year’s drink of choice will be, but Lucozade Sport served me well last time.
Of course you’ll probably want to know just how to get your hands on this live stream, and for that you’ll need to follow us on Twitter, although we’ll try and have details about it on the site as well. However, Twitter will likely be a good way of just generally keep up with what we’re doing at and around the show, and may help you track us down if you fancy talking to us.

Unless we’re rushing between appointments we’ll be more than happy to have a chat with you, and if you’re very lucky we might even give you a present of some form. Do remember to introduce yourself though, and mention your TSA username. Oh, and please don’t be insulted if we don’t recognise you from last year or even from earlier in the show, we’re terrible with names and will probably all be exhausted.Hopefully I won’t be quite as exhausted as last year though, Peter has specifically told me off working too hard and that I need to take things a bit easier this time around. Of course I don’t know quite how well I’ll stick to his instructions, although having a little while to relax does sound like it could be nice. He’s also promised me unlimited supplies of bacon, so that may well keep me distracted for a while – I’m not quite sure he knows what he’s let himself in for.
Anyway I probably need to start preparing things for the show, so I’ll simply ask this: Are you going and what are you looking forward to the most?

when it comes to eurogamer expo, its abit non interesting for me as there’s not gonna be anything interesting or any surprises going to happen its more like a sales show for the Xmas releases.
