Star Wars fan still reeling after witnessing that dreadful dancing thing in Star Wars Kinect? Worry not, your beloved franchise is set to be further distilled towards mass consumption as Rovio, makers of the Angry Birds series, look like they’re making Angry Birds Star Wars.
A teaser image surfaced today, seemingly alone on a Tumblr blog before being linked to from the main Rovio-powered Twitter accounts. That points to all this being real, rather than a bizarre cross-media nightmare which points to – at some point in the future – there being an Angry Birds everything. Nothing, repeat nothing, is safe.
More is expected next week, if you can bear to wait.

It seems that there may be a birdemic if the angry birds are not stopped. At least, Lucas can’t make the big red one shoot in self defense in a reeditied version at a later date to avoid him coming accross as a cold hearted bird. Or insert NOOOO!! in what was an excellent scene. Or do an entire prequel trilogy that ruins the mystery of the force. Suspect Peter will either be happy or annoyed about this.
