Assassin’s Creed Anthology Costs £119.99

The rumours (albeit rather heavy ones) of an Assassin’s Creed Anthology are indeed, true, and the UK price – £119.99 – has been confirmed this morning in an email from Ubisoft to TheSixthAxis. The package will be exclusive to Amazon in the UK, and will be available from November 30th, for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The Anthology is – according to the publisher – a “prestige collector’s edition” and includes all the expansion packs and DLC for all of the mainline Assassin’s Creed games, including, nicely, the Season Pass for the latest game, Assassin’s Creed III. That should mean that you’ll have pretty much everything Creed, from the start until the (current) end.

So, that’s Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed II (with Sequence 12: Battle of Forlì DLC and Sequence 13: Bonfire of the Vanities DLC), Brotherhood (Da Vinci editiion, with extra missions and multiplayer features), Revelations (Ottoman Edition) and Assassin’s Creed III. The Anthology Edition also includes five exclusive lithographs, an exclusive steel book and a collector’s box.

The first DLC for Assassin’s Creed III, which will be covered by the Season Pass, will be available towards the middle of next month.

  1. Steel book? Have we run out of trees?

  2. Oh right, well I definitely wont be getting that then.

  3. On the PS Store, they sell the Assassins Creed Collection for £49. It says it’s for EVERY game released which should include the new one. I know they don’t mean every game at that price but it’s written so can they legally back out of that?

    • I think you’ll find its more than likely the Ezio collection for that price, which would only include AC2, AC Brotherhood & AC Revelations.

  4. Wow,

That’s a lot of money for a new game and some old ones.

When this is getting sold for £30ish quid on Amazon in the new year I might be tempted.

    • I wouldn’t bother, you’ll only have to buy them all over again next generation when they milk the series by re-releasing on PS4/New xBox

      • But they’ll look so much better……..

  5. 1080p remake? :)

  6. And for the low low price of £260, you can buy it on the store. You will recieve a free wacky inflatable wavy arm man. Disclaimer:the free wacky inflateable wavy arm man may not be included for free and you may have to sell your wife to us.

You can get the entire franchise for £50-£70 in total so why bother paying £119? I rather buy a console for that price or a Capcom game that doesn’t require a ton of DLC just so you can get the full experience from day 1. :p

    • Not to be confused with whacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man, right?

      • I had to change the name to avoid being sued by Apple as it turns out they own the patent to it. :O

  7. I know the clocks went back recently, but I’m pretty sure it isn’t April 1st, guys!

  8. Silly really, a fanboy would almost certainly have or have had all the games by now, while someone not overly interested might think… “£120? Nah I’ll skip it”.

then of course there’s always chex.

  9. Crazy money, for a game. That is silly money.

    My grandma would NOT approve.
