PSN Store Update: 09/01/13 – Auditorium Arrives At Last

We’ll update later when the full list is published but for now, let’s take a glance at what to expect from today’s Store update. What digital delights will there be to tempt you now that the Christmas break is over and your time is ever more precious?

[drop]Well, Auditorium HD finally arrives at a price of £6.49. It’s been out in North America for months and, to be honest, I’d given up on ever seeing a SCEE release for the innovative puzzler. There’s also Move support for those of you who want an excuse to wave your wands at the TV and 3D if you’ve got a compatible screen.

Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle is due, too. With Move support, this puzzle-packed adventure game promises to be more than just a turtle’s head (sorry). It’s set amid pirates, with 50 locations and 40 characters to catch your attention as you play as the Caribbean’s first female captain.

Lord of the Rings: The War in the North gets a digital release and although it hasn’t seen the strongest range of reviews, it’s a co-op action RPG that can be entertaining enough with the right partner. Priced at £15.99, this might just be worth a go if you can gather a couple of mates and play it together.

Assassin’s Creed III Battle Hardened DLC is also coming, for £7.99. It’s got three new characters and maps as well as some new customisation items and trophies. Sticking with DLC, there are new tracks for F1 Race Stars and some Marvel Heroes costumes for LittleBigPlanet 2 (and Vita).
