Resident Evil Revelations Confirmed For PS3, 360 And Wii U

The rumours and leaks have come to their inevitable conclusions: Capcom has just confirmed that Resident Evil: Revelations will indeed be coming to the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U (and PC, if you’re counting). It’ll be a fully fledged retail release, and will land on May 24th in Europe.

It’ll also, predictably, be a digital download across all formats. The price is £40.

“Complete with high quality HD visuals, enhanced lighting effects and an immersive sound experience, the fear that was originally brought to players in Resident Evil Revelations on the Nintendo 3DS system returns redefined for home consoles,” says the rather excitable press release.

The PR also confirms that there’ll be new content for the consoles. A new enemy, an extra difficulty mode and improvements to the game’s Raid Mode such as new weapons, skill sets and the opportunity to play as Hunk and other characters from the series.

The game is set between Resident Evils 4 and 5 and is set, initially at least, on board a cruise ship.

  1. Major disappointment about the Vita being ignored. Still I have a 3DS and stumbled across this in Asda for £7 yesterday so guess I can’t complain…

  2. Just a heads up, Zavvi/Thehut are taking pre-orders at £30 (including Wii-U version). Just ordered mine using a discount code and got it for £26 :)
