PSN Store Update 20/02/13 – Persona 4 Golden, Crysis 3 and Urban Trial

For once, the PSN Store update isn’t the most exciting thing about a Wednesday. It’s still happening, though, and there’s plenty to tempt your thumbs this week. Perhaps you’ll even buy something to make the time go quicker between the late afternoon update and tonight’s little shindig over the Atlantic.

[drop2]Well, you could do worse than picking up a copy of Urban Trial Freestyle on PS3 or Vita. It’s a solid stunt bike sidescroller that’s sadly not Cross-buy but it’s under a tenner if you’re a PS Plus subscriber and Aran thought it was worth 8/10 in our review.

The Hearthfire DLC arrives for Skyrim at its first week discounted rate of just £1.99. That’s probably the headline DLC in a week that sees more than its fair share of add-on content. There’s the expected raft of LittleBigPlanet packs, some costumes for Battle Royale and a few new game modes for Resident Evil 6 too.

At the more expensive end of this week’s spectrum, there’s a £60 digital release for Crysis 3 and the Vita sees the European release of Persona 4 Golden for £35. Sniper Elite V2 for PS3 and Ragnarok Odyssey for Vita are slightly more affordable, at £30 and £25 respectively and if you’re on the lookout for a bargain, you might want to grab the Oddworld: Stranger Boxx. For £14 that includes the PS3 and Vita versions of the HD remake of Stranger’s Wrath.

There’s a demo on Vita for Sly Cooper and Lumines Electric Symphony goes free today for Plus subscribers.

  1. Fingers crossed for the AC3 King Washington DLC – several sites are stating this should be available – is it coming to EU today?

  2. I’d totally get the Oddworld: Stranger Boxx if I didn’t already own the game. They’ll probably do the same for Munch’s Oddysee at some point…

  3. Crisis 3 for £60! I’ll take 3.

    • Awesome – Wasn’t going to buy it, but i’ll have one for free if you have one going spare. :)

      • and I bagsy the other one (do ppl still do bagsy or am I just old?)

  4. Urban freestyle for me, think i will get the Vita version

  5. This week only the new Skyrim stuff and DOA 5 dlc (yes there is). Crysis 3 on the pc should be a blast to play.

  6. What the hell is Capcom Arcade Cabinet & why in the blue blazes is it free??

    Suspicious.

    • Free? I hope that’s a two-for-one deal ;)

    • from the store .. “Play the full game of ‘Black Dragon’ and try out ‘1943’ and ‘ Avengers’ in this free trial”
Additional pack available for a €5 with two games and two trials.

      • I tried out the Capcom Arcade thingy, but I found it to be totally average…….or MEH as my young nephew put it.

      • Somewhat disappointing, but somewhat expected i suppose.

    • I’d rather wait till they release the full pack…

  7. Urban Trial is showing as £7.99, and £6.39 for plus, for the ps3 version.
i don’t know if that’s a mistake though, so get it quick if you want it, just in case. ^_^

    • the blog post says £11,99, so maybe it is a mistake.

      • and, they’ve fixed it.
        back to the full price.

  8. Might as well pick up Hearthfire, £1.99 isn’t asking much.

  9. Will pick a few Vita bits today I think.

  10. Just Hearthfire for me this time. Hope Dawnguard is good as well.
