GTA V is still slowly trundling its glorious hype train on down the tracks. Not that I’m going to complain too much about the continual, slow drip-feeding of bits and pieces. I’m basically a big idiot when it comes to anything GTA related and anything to do with Rockstar’s next open world crime-a-thon is okay by me!

Well, today’s little seed of a hint comes in the form of a downloadable screensaver shown above (do people still use screensavers?) on the Rockstar website. It extols the virtues of Epsilonism, which fans might remember is the kooky religion that was made up for the GTA games so that Scientologists didn’t sue them (probably).
The screensaver describes the 12 tenets and goals of Epsilonism with creepy music and text fading in over what appear to be in-game scenes of the sea and a lighthouse, rock buffs, etc. There’s also a character shown, potentially someone we’ll meet in the game.

As ever, there’s not much to go on but it’s a nice reassurance that Rockstar hasn’t lost its sense of humour with the GTA franchise – and that it isn’t going to shy away from potentially controversial subjects for fear of litigation.
I love seeing this sort of thing but every time something new is released, I find myself wishing it was more substantial information.
