Insomniac’s first third person team-based shooter Fuse (nee Overstrike) will get a playable demo next week, according to publishers EA.
The demo will appear as part of the PS3’s regular Store update (so next Wednesday) and will also appear on the Xbox 360 Marketplace on the 7th.
The demo will allow player to try out the online co-op (with up to four players) or a 2-player split-screen match. In the demo, players will take on the role of four elite operatives.
The game is due at the end of the month. It’s Insomniac’s first multiplatform game.

Insomniac have been a huge disappointment for me this gen. I loved the Spyro and Ratchet & Clank games but Resistance was pretty average. Meanwhile their ‘rivals’ Naughty Dog/Sucker Punch seem to be going from strength to strength with Uncharted/inFamous. Insomniac need to find the magic again.
