Tecmo KOEI is planning to release yet another instalment in its popular turn-based strategy series, Nobunaga’s Ambition. Subtitled “Creation” the game is due to launch on both PlayStation 3 and PC in Japan with no confirmation of a Western release.
For the best part of its 30-year run Nobunaga’s Ambition has rarely wandered overseas. However, in the past few years, Tecmo KOEI has been efficient in localising the bulk of its products for European and American audiences including 2013’s Ken’s Rage 2 and Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires.
It may be a tenuous point to ride on but the success of KOEI and Nintendo’s bizarre Pokemon / Nobunaga crossover, Pokemon Conquest, could also point to a possible localisation of Creation.
