Really like the sound of the heists, being able to choose how and with whom you carry out the mission is a great idea. I also just can’t wait to be able to drive around and explore.

After GTA4 I doubt I will pick this up. Saints Row has always been the more enjoyable series in my eyes.

I thought that with SR2 Vs GTAIV… but I thought SR3 was a clusterfuck & SR4 looks even more so.

I thought that until I saw this. Looks like they’ve addressed the issues like vehicle handling, combat and shooting and, especially, the boring environments.
There is room for SR and GTA on any gamers shelf in my opinion.

Handling, combat and shooting were the three big things I did not like about previous GTA games (and SR to be completely fair). Their humour basically made up for it, which is why GTA4 felt so poor to me I guess.
I’ll have to watch the video when I get home from work tonight and have a re-think :)

She points out in this vdeo that those are the areas they’ve focussed on improving so I’m hopeful. The driving certainly looks more controlled than in GTA4

Sorry, but after R.D.R on PS3 Rockstar are expecting me to believe they’ve now mastered the PS3 to a point where they can make an open-world, sandbox game look this good on PS3, that suddenly as fas far as PS3 game developers go, they are up there with if not better than Naughty Dog etc?
I’d love for this to be honest to god Ps3 footage, but i’m not buying it.Looks tinkered with, until jurno’s actually get to spend time on it, not convinced.
Still have my money on ‘Day 1 Patch’ as well……….

Well, its looking great! I cant wait to have a go! Actually, I’m not sure whether this would be a good one to wait for, I think its safe to assume it’ll be out for next gen machines but when and whether it’ll be worth waiting for is a stumper. Hmmm.

2) If not then I wonder how good the PS4 will make it look :-)

Just had a thought (ow!) – if R* want to make sh0t loads of money they should allow the PS3 saves to transfer to PS4 making everyone buy it once this generation then buy it again to carry on their game on next gen console. Am going to try and wait for PS4 version but if they offer this then I may break early….
