It’s day three of the Steam Summer Sale. There have already been some great deals so far with BioShock Infinite at half price, The Walking Dead selling for around a fiver and Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 priced at just over £3.
The next set of daily deals, and flash deals have only just gone live. There’s 75% off Tomb Raider (a further discount added since the image was taken below) and 66% off Borderlands 2.
In the flash sales you can pick up LA Noire for a penny less than a fiver, and also Hitman Absolution was the community’s choice, now with a 75% reduction.
So far I’ve downloaded BioShock 2, Alice: The Madness Returns, Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 and F1 2012 in the first two days. Have you purchased anything for yourself yet?

Do wish these sort of sales would come to PSN.

All I’ve bought so far is Hotline Miami on day one. I’m enjoying it, they’ve hit the sweet spot between being frustrating and easy so I can’t help but keep trying!
As much as I love the steam sales I’ve got to the point where I pretty much own everything that goes on sale…I really should start playing them!

Only got the Tropico 4 Collector’s Bundle so far. Nothing much of interest to me yet. Definitely getting Fallout: NV ultimate edition and Puzzle Quest 2 some time before sales end though.

I love these sales, then chhecking my bank balance means i still have to be picky AGGHHH, but annoyed i payed in full for Tomb Raider a week ago, currently thinking about The Witcher 2, since i see PC Gamers big it up.

If you grab the original Witcher, which is currently on sale, you won’t regret it. The second game is simply one of the best games of the last few years, but so is the first. It will also help to make the story make sense.

yeah as i was about to buy the second one i saw the 25gb requirement, and since usualy games actually go over its quoted amount i decided to wait until i get a bigger hard drive, did grab the first one though, will get played tonight :D

I’ve bought nothing so far luckily, almost got Anno 2070, but it’s been cheaper before so I’m holding out still. Will see what else comes up that takes my fancy. I also don’t get any of the trading card stuff either, seems a bit weird.

Steam Sales are a thing of beauty. I’ve behaved so far and picked up:
Battlefield Bad Company 2 as well as L.A. Noire for £10.73. Resi 6 keeps giving me the eye and my Wishlist has all manner of goodies on there. :-)
Origami Killer
Resident Evil 6 is also on mine, been tempted to pick it up all year. Hopefully it goes cheaper than just 50% off.

I love these sales and have bought more than my fill before. I’m finding it easier to resist these days as I’ve finished so few of the ones I’ve bought plus I have a PS+ backlog. When I only have around 14 hours a week to game it’s tricky…

Ive bought a couple of cheap oldies so far, just Gary’s Mod and Machinarium. I can see myself spending way more, Steam sales are always brilliant, I’m hoping Trackmania Canyon and Jedi Knight 2 get slashed at some point. Also, if anyone’s tempted by FTL, its definitely worth a few quid :)
slowman6
just picked up Witcher 1 and 2 and Borderlands 2 for a bit over 12 pounds…Bargain, no idea when I’ll have time for them but I’ll think about that later. Been wanting Borderlands 2 for a while now. Hopefully Mark of the Ninja will be the next special deal and I’ll get that…..oh and FTL…….ahhhhhh, too much!
