UK Sales Charts: The Last Of Us Top For Six Weeks

For the sixth week in a row The Last Of Us has retained its top spot in the UK sales charts. As both a PS3 exclusive and new IP this is an incredibly impressive achievement. New release, Dynasty Warriors 8, debuts at number 5, while Minecraft has jumped a few places to take second spot. This means Animal Crossing: New Leaf has dropped down to 4th.

Max Payne 3 surprisingly sits at number 7 following from what I can only assume is a price drop. The usual suspects of Tomb Raider, Far Cry 3, Skyrim and FIFA 13 complete the top 10.

Here’s the full list:

  1. The Last Of Us
  2. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition
  3. Mario And Luigi: Dream Team Bros.

  1. And so it should, it’s a superb game and a great swansong for this gen.

  2. Still haven’t got TLoU, cheapest I can find it is £38 on amazon! Need to wait longer for it to come down to at least sub 30, or track down a pre-owned one for a good price.

    • I was going to sell my copy if you’re interested? It’s the Joel Edition, but I want to keep the comic book and art book.

      • I might be interested in that if Gaza isn’t. Can you message me on psn about it, please? Alias is the same as here.

      • will do when I get on my ps3 late this evening :)

    • TLOU prices are crazy at the moment only place to get them below £30 are on HighDefNinja and AVForums!

Glad to see it doing well though great game!

Think i may list my Sealed Ellie Edition on ebay sometime this week also need the £££££

  3. I know TLoU is very very good, but it does help that there has been F all else to buy the last few months. Max Payne 3 is a fiver a Tesco and £7 at Asda. Well worth a purchase, imo.

  4. Very well deserved. GoTY for sure.

Tried to get into GTA IV again at the weekend but I couldn’t stick it for more than 15 minutes. Hasn’t aged well at all.

  5. Minecraft at number, what a pile of toss, and sums up the 12yr old Xbox customer base.
