Microsoft has confirmed, following the leak of an official image, that a Halo 4 Game of the Year edition will launch later this year.
Slated for October, the retail package will include a copy of the game as well as numerous DLC add-ons. These include Spartan Ops Season One and the War Games Map Pack, as well as the recent Champions Bundle and even pre-order content.
Microsoft claims that, combined, the whole lot will cost gamers $80 but the GOTY edition will go on sale for $50.
Halo 4 launched last November. Though the game scored well amongst critics, it failed to top the sales figures either Halo 3 or Reach.

Can’t go a year without Halo …
Good for the fans but I’ve personally never been partial to the series.
