Bad news if you don’t have first class delivery on your GTA V order – retailers won’t be dispatching the game until the day before release, Monday the 16th of September.
In a statement from retailer GAME to customers, Rockstar have requested that retailers don’t stick the game in the post until the day before, so that the game doesn’t reach customers early:
They have requested that no UK retailer despatch GTA V before the 16th September and GAME, along with all reputable retailers, will respect this request.
It makes sense; copies dispatched on Friday or Saturday could likely arrive on Monday, and Rockstar want to have this game locked down.
My GameStop pre-order at £4.97 doesn’t seem quite as enticing now that I know I might not get it until later in the week. Perhaps I’ll order at Amazon, who have release day delivery guaranteed with every order.

Guess Shopto is really good for delivery. I think it’s a little bit more expensive in this one instance but you may still receive it Monday. if they dispatch it Monday they have free next day delivery so you will receive it Tuesday
