New Grand Theft Auto V Screenshots, Voicecasts And Radio Clips

The September 17th release date for Grand Theft Auto V is slowly creeping up on us, which means Rockstar are winding the hype machine up to eleven, starting with a collection of luscious new screenshots for the game.

A contributing writer to the game, Lazlow Jones, has also been revealed that real gang members have been recruited to add their voices to the game.

“In the game there’s these rival gangs,” Lazlow told Chicago radio station WGN, “There’s Black gangs, Latino gangs… we recruited a guy who gets gang members, actual real gang members, like El Salvadoran gang dudes with amazing tattoos, one of which had literally gotten out of prison the day before.”

Lazlow explained that recording gang members was preferable to using actors, explaining that they had to “go find the terrifying people” and coax them in the to recording studio.

Rockstar have also released a number of clips of the radio stations that can be found in the game, namely West Coast Classics, Vinewood Boulevard Radio, Rebel Radio, Fly LoFM and East Los FM.

  1. Oooh, nice. A (for legal reasons, not) Aston Martin DB5.

  2. Can’t come soon enough

  3. Any shots from that game I ignore, based on previous games. The game normally looks nothing like them in reality.

    Still looking forward to this

    • I dunno. The way they advertised RDR was exactly how it ended up being. This will probably be the same (considering RDR was after GTA IV, think they’ve learnt their mistakes).

  4. Only 13 days to go :-}

  5. These stations should be hilarious out for a drive.
    Turn me up, turn me on and turn me loose y’all Bling County hillbillies, coming at ya from Rebel Radio……Helllll Yeeaaahhh! :P
