More DC Hero Games To Be Announced

With Batman: Arkham Origins and it’s mobile counterpart, Blackgate, launching in October things are looking rather quiet for DC fans next year.

Of course DC Universe Online will still be trundling forward and will be making the jump to PlayStation 4 and Infinite Crisis is available on PC, but beyond that nothing has been revealed.

However, Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara has said that more games based on DC characters will be announced in “the coming months.”

That’s all we’ve got to go on, no formats, characters, nothing, not exactly ground breaking news but it did remind me of one nagging question:

Just what have Rocksteady been doing for the past two years? Their web site is listing jobs for AAA programmers, so they are working on something for consoles of PC but we have not heard a squeak from them in ages, their last tweet was in March.

  1. SUPERMAN! … Seriously … how can we not have a good Superman game by now?

  2. so Superman, maybe Flash, Green Arrow may be a possibility with the tv series doing well.
but not Wonder Woman, never Wonder Woman. >_<

any male superhero that had been around as long as Wonder Woman has, and been as successful in the comic medium would have have plenty of games and movies based around them.

hell, even Aquaman got a bloody game, it was awful but he still got one.

  3. Please, no mobile.

    • There’ll definitely be mobile games, without a shadow of a doubt.

      Here’s hoping for a PS4 / XB One Green Arrow game though…

Even a new Rocksteady Batman would be nice… I can’t get enough Arkham.
