Nintendo have announced three new Wii U hardware bundles launching for the lucrative festive season.

The final pack is released on 22nd November and once again contains a white 8GB Wii U, white Wii U GamePad, a Wii Remote Plus controller and Sensor Bar but this pack has Just Dance 2014 and Nintendo Land on the discs.
All three packs are priced at £249.99 (!) and can be bought from Nintendo’s new online store.

Was thinking actually, supermarket shelf space is already quite stretched, even in the big stores, so what’s gonna happen when there are yet another two new consoles/games to fit in? Maybe they’ll start keeping stock behind the counter and just have a rack of cards to choose from?

Lots of supermarkets have stopped stocking the Wii U. So not a problem :)

What Ninty really need to sell these bundles is a big media campaign as a lot of folk think the Wii U is an add-on for the Wii.

There really is nothing Nintendo has on the Wii U that I want to play. I’m sure there is for Nintendo fans but the GameCube was my last Nintendo console.
Resident Evil 4 – looked amazing, played amazing and only available on GameCube (timed), but non of that this gen, just a few good but old looking games.
Surely the profits from the Wii & DS could be put into something that would keep up with the competition!
Nintendo needs to stop being cute, grow a beard and wedge itself in amongst the big boys.

I quite like the Wii-U for what is is, but I agree the Gamecube was excellent. Probably my favourite console of all time. Playing RE4 for the first time was a real highlight for me, as was playing Mario Kart cooperatively.

Is this the last push from Ninty?
For my money they got this console totally wrong. The controller with screen just confuses the causal buyer (the mass market that bought the Wii).

I agree. Nintendo have basically created a Vita that needs an extra box to power it. Had one for a few weeks and was not impressed at all.

Just bought the normal premium version for 1500 DKR(170£), which is pretty damn cheap, specially here in Denmark, where it normally costs around 2400 DKR (270£).
