PlayStation Vita arcade platform-puzzler A-Men is getting a sequel, it has been revealed. A-Men 2 will launch on PSN for PS3 and Vita on November 5th in North America and November 6th in Europe.
The game’s developers – indie studio Blooper Team – have described A-Men 2 as a “throwback to the old-school era when arcade games were designed to test a players skills and reflexes to the limit, where only precision and speed-of-thought will be rewarded with progress.”
In A-Men 2, you’ll play as a variety of different Special Forces units – the titular A-Men – each with their own specialist abilities, as they travel the globe to defeat a horde of robot soldiers hell bent on destruction.
The game boasts 44 stages across a quartet of new environments, and will be cross-buy enabled, meaning of course you’ll get both the PS3 and Vita versions for one price when it’s released next month.
Back in April 2012, the original A-Men scored 7/10 in our review, with Dan describing the title as “a good game, but one you’ll lose most of your hair over”.
