Call of Duty Ghosts may have just released this week, but you won’t be able to play it on your PS4 until the 29th of November. If you haven’t picked up a copy yet, then we’ve got you sorted, as we’ve teamed up with musicMagpie to offer the chance for one of you to win the Hardened Edition of the game on PS4.
Before we get to our competition, musicMagpie are running their own, with the top prize of a PlayStation 4 and the Hardened Edition of Ghosts, a second prize of the Hardened Edition on PS4 and a third place prize of a standard copy of Ghosts on PS4. It’s very easy to enter, and you can either do that by entering on their Facebook page or through their blog. Their competition closes on December 6th, so you’ve got plenty of time to enter.
However, here on TSA we’ll make things very simple for you to win the Hardened Edition of the game on PS4. All you have to do is drop a comment in the comments section below saying what your favourite Call of Duty moment was, be that online or in a single player campaign.
For example, my favourite moment in Call of Duty is the time I spent playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare online with a group of friends from early afternoon on a Friday until early morning on Saturday. I’m not sure I’ll ever recapture that magic with online gaming, and it was just amazing.
The competition will close at 23:59PM GMT on Wednesday 20th November, and we’ll pick a random winner to be announced a day or two later. The winner will be contacted via the email they used to sign up to TSA with, so keep an eye on that if you do enter.
As per usual, TSA’s terms and conditions apply and in this case the competition is open to the UK only. Again, the competition closes for entry on Wednesday 20th of November at 23:59 GMT. The copy of the game will be sent out before the launch of the PS4, but please allow a few days for delivery.
Good luck!

I was 14, it was a cold, wet stormy day… I had my M1 Grand and i was in the war torn town of Carentan. My comrades beside me, we were in the last round of a S&D clan match. Before I knew it I had planted the bomb whilst my team mates died protecting me, I hid around the corner as the smoke grenades came a plenty! I turn in time to spot and kill on an enemy coming up behind me…. just one left i thought. I heard the inevitable defuse and stick my head around the corner to inspect and BAM!!…. I was disconnected because of my stupid router!
512mb AOL connection ROAR! dammit mum why did you go with AOL! Back in the old days on COD United Offense

Call of duty 2 the Normany Beach landing was just awesome back in the day, But as for now winning One In The Chamber mode on Black Ops 2 has to be one of the best game modes on Call Of Duty once you have used your bullets it just gets scary lol.

My favourite moment of COD was COD4 MW the opening scenes. it was my first game I played on the PS3 and I was blown away I have never expected anything as good as that from a “game”

Favourite COD moment has got to be MW2 multi-player (which I think is still the best multi-player ever from COD) Scrapyard map catching campers around that square block at the back making them jump up then head shot. :)

Most memorable for me has to be the nuke scene in COD4… Completely out of the blue.

Ninja defusing when your team or their team has mics on our my favourite moments, those first few seconds when they’re stunned and confused (maybe not so much now but the last time I did this kind of stuff was back in Mw2) .
My all time favourite memory was on Mw2 playing Search and Destroy on Estate. The score was 3-3, 2 of us alive against 4 of them, I was prone in the grass with Marathon Pro, Cold-Blooded Pro, Ninja Pro and constantly tapping triangle to make myself look dead. My sensitivity was all the way up and someone started to plant the bomb so I got behind him and instead of going prone I decided to stand up behind him and just spin.
Somehow I got away with defusing it and my team went mental, the usual ooooooooooh, oh my god, get owned etc and the other team couldn’t believe it, threatening to report me for hacking because they didn’t know what happened.
They were the glory days of MP imo, apologies if mine goes on quite a bit.

Playing on old school mode with a group of friends were we played hide and seek. The intensity of being found and running for your life jumping across buildings was some of the best online fun I’ve ever had.

Favela shit in Modern Warfare 2.

Actually, the ghillie suit level from Modern Warfare. The radiation, abandoned flats, attack dogs, sniper bit and ferris wheel shoot out made for a brilliant level.

*Upon finishing this, I realised I’ve pretty much written an essay of drivel, but I’m going to keep it in anyway. Scroll down to where the asterisks are for a recount of the exact moment, or to the very bottom for the TL:DR. Once again, my apologies!*
My favourite CoD moment was during a small 4v4 clan match. I really for the life of me can’t remember the name of the map, all I remember is it having lots of corridors.
A little background first.
I think it was either MW2 or 3 and we were just in the lobby preparing to play. A few insults were being thrown around, but it was just good natured banter. Once we started playing however, that’s when things went south. It seemed our friendly rivals weren’t so friendly after all with a few messages being sent in-game to other members of my team. We decided to just keep quiet, not rise to anything and get on with hopefully winning the match.
It was getting to the last few minutes of the game and we were fairly even, mostly just trading kills, when it all kicked off. Each member of my team, myself included, was getting spammed with abusive messages, calling us every name under the sun and suggesting our mothers had done some very questionable things. Now as you know, this sort of thing is ridiculously common in CoD multiplayer, so it served to inspire us to beat these guys.
Low and behold, closing seconds of the game and it’s a tie, the game goes into sudden death. 2 of my team-mates died within seconds and in their haste to celebrate, one of our opponents stopped in-game to send us more abusive messages. He was found and swiftly dispatched with a knife to the back.
Once this guy died, the messages came thick and fast about how we were camping, and how we suck at the game and all this nonsense. He’s also mouthing off in the “dead” lobby so to speak to the 2 guys he killed on my team, both of which are sitting next to me and turning their headsets up full volume so we can hear him. He mentions that we don’t stand a chance, it’s 3v2. It then becomes 2v2 and his mate starts chiming in saying how we suck and we’re campers, recycling insults like a good ‘un.

This is where my favourite moment kicks in, due to my perks and playing style, I had snuck behind the 2 remaining enemies while they were raining bullets down on my team-mate. He said to me to be ready for his flashbang, and I nodded the affirmative. Clearly the enemies in the “dead” lobby had heard him over one of the other guys’ microphone and we heard him yell “Dirty *@?!’s are going to flash you” (Why this tactic makes us dirty I don’t know, maybe he thought we were really going to flash them) but his cries were too late. My friend threw his flashbang with deadly accuracy, landing it between the 2 enemies. For reasons known only to god, they BOTH looked directly at it as it exploded and tried running away from my team-mate, towards me. I was also slightly dazed by the flash and lunged with my knife for the closest enemy. At this point, the other enemy recovers and comes at me with HIS knife. I panic and backpeddle but I’m against a wall and start praying. At this point, through the smoke and haze left by the flashbang, I see my friend sprinting down the corridor like a rabid jackal. He dives over the crates/cover and just as the enemy starts to stab me, a knife enters his shoulder and he drops to the ground, my saviour standing over him. Who said CoD multiplayer has no depth?
TL:DR Team-mate flashbangs enemies, I knife one and then get saved by the fastest man alive.
