Sony is getting in to the festive spirit and has announced that there will be two free PSM games on the store each week, beginning today until December 18th.
The offer will take a break over Christmas and will return from 8th January until 22nd January 2014. The first two games should be available now, Adam tells me they are “Rymdkapsel” and “Passing Time” but he may have fallen on his keyboard when typing the name of first game.
The titles will also be available for those who use smartphones and tablets.

Nice introduction to PSM for those of us it’s just rolling out to.

Not really. They take a break just when we get access!

rymdkapsel is one of my games of the year, it’s currently available in Humble Bundle for Mobiles 3 too, if you have an Android thingy & pay what you want to the devs & charity.
Would love it on my Vita too.
Sadly can’t access PSM via PS4’s Web store, so will grab it later!

It’s slightly weird that PSM isn’t on the web store. Then again, I guess it avoids confusion, only being able to buy on devices that support it is a good thing..?

Nice one Sony.

Cool, just tricked the PSM app into supporting my Nexus 5 so this is well timed :)

PSM isn’t natively supported on Nexus 5? What’d you do, spoof the device ID?

Can’t get them on the Web store, damn. Although when I had a look at the store I realised I really need to get a Vita again, I’m missing out on a lot of free Plus games!

Go onto the web store every month an click the download button on them every month. Ive never owned a Vita, but if i ever do Ive got a years worth of back-logged PS+ Vita games to plough through

Lol, rymdkapsel is Swedish for space pod :)

PSM not available in my country until the 18th, which means these two games – and the next two – will never be free for me.
Good job, SCEE!
Maybe celebrate the expansion of the service with this promotion? Not the other way ’round?

looks like i picked a good time to buy a Vita.
Passing Time looks a bit meh,i’m not a big fan of football games.
but that Rymdkapsel looks pretty interesting.
despite the minimalist style, it kind of reminds me of Dungeon Keeper from the video on the game’s site.
ok, just downloaded it.
fanatastic.
Tuffcub would probably hate it, the NPCs are basically a few pixels.
but i said it reminds me of Dungeon Keeper, and playing the game reinforces that notion.
it may be the game that comes closest to playing Dungeon Keeper since i actually played Dungeon Keeper.
and i just loved Dungeon Keeper.
i can honestly see this being one of the games i play most on my Vita.
at least until EA bring a proper Dungeon Keeper game out.

So… it’s like Dungeon Keeper?

Already bought Passing Time (which is a lot of fun) and now I’ve picked up Rymdkapsel, which I’ve been looking to get for ages. I’m a big strategy fan, so its great to have such an awesome-looking and addictive strategy game for the Vita.
