Sony has announced the second Christmas deal that will be live on the PS Store for the next two days, while the FIFA 14 one has expired.
Diablo III is the title that PS3 owners can have at a discounted price of £29.99/€39.99, down from £49.99/€59.99. It may be worth checking out the dungeon crawler as it received a 9/10 in our review. Diablo III is not confirmed to have an upgrade option to the PS4 version though.
Vita owners receive Spelunky at a discounted price of £5.49/€6.99, coming down from £11.99/€14.99. The game recently received an update which bought daily challenges to the PS3 and Vita. The game is also Cross-Buy and supports cross-saves, so it you fancy playing it on your PS3 instead then you can.
Movie rental wise Star Trek Into Darkness has been discounted to £1.99 for the HD version, or 99p for the SD version.

It’s a shame the PS4 version of Diablo 3 isn’t out yet – that’s what I’m waiting for! And £29.99 isn’t really a ‘must-buy’ price anyway…

How I miss the time when there were actual gifts in the “12 Deals/Days Of Christmas” program. Any remembers? I got things like Crash Commando, Critter Crunch and others. I think it was two years ago.

Shame there doesn’t seem to be an upgrade to PS4 option for Diablo III but i did read that they were hoping to find a way to transfer your character progress from PS3 to PS4.

Got excited when I saw Diablo 3 and then disappointed when I saw the price. To be fair it’s £5 cheaper than most retailers at the moment, but it’s still too much money for a ‘sale’ item imo.
Spelunky is a decent one though. I’m sure I’m with lots of people on this when I say I’d like more full feature release Vita titles on offer. AC3 Liberation, NFS most Wanted, CoD, Battle Royale etc.

I don’t think Spelunky is Cross-Buy – the version discounted is Vita-only. Which is sad because I would have bought it for PS3…
