PSM Festive Giveaway: Gun Commando And Mononoke Slashdown

Sony’s festive cheer is on show everywhere, as they hurl free games and offers at us left right and centre! It’s not just the 12 Deals of Christmas, but also the PSM Festive Giveaway, which featured Passing Time and Rymdkapsel for the last week. However, it’s now Wednesday and that means it’s all change, with those two games no longer available for free.

We now see Gun Commando, which defines itself as a combination of a combination of a Shoot’em Up and a First Person Shooter, all the while sporting Doom-like graphical stylings, joined by Mononoke Slashdown, a 2D side-scrolling hack & slash game.

Both will naturally work well on PS Vita, but as they’re designed for PSM, they will also go nicely with supported Android smartphones and tablets that can take advantage of PSM.

You can find some vague details about the promotion here, but your best bet is just to head to the PS Store on Vita or the PSM app on your phone and just download the games!

Good control and super smooth graphics.

  5. Already had Gun Commando, its a lot of fun to play and the controls are great. I picked up Rymdkapsel last week, its awesome and addicting. Nice to see Sony putting quality PSM titles in this promotion.

    • Gun comando works quite well on vita, but I wad to use the left stick to move and touch screen to aim as the aiming was far to sensitive. Maybe you can adjust that. I didn’t look…

      • Yeah you can, if I remember correctly

      • Yes, you can adjust the sesitivity for the aim. It works really well. I had a good blast on this last night. Very old skool, but good fun all the same.
