Eurogamer has confirmed a batch of screenshots leaked on Twitter last night are in-game screens from Creative Assembly’s title, Alien Isolation.
It is rumoured that the game will star Ripley’s daughter, Amanda, and will be heavily influenced by the original 1970’s film as well as games such as Dishonored.
Eurogamer say the game will be released on current and next-gen consoles sometime next year.

I wonder if they’ll keep on releasing Alien games until one of them is really good. Probability dictates it has to happen one day. I just hope I’m still alive to experience it. :-P

I used to love the Alien game on the Game Gear. Cant remember what it was actually called but remember playing it for months. That was probably the last good one I played (although it was probably pants and I didn’t know better!).

Alien on C64/ZX Spectrum, Alien 3 on SNES, C64 Aliens (Electric Dreams/UK, not Activision’s US crack at game of film), Alen Res. on PSOne (long as you used a mouse), AVP on Jaguar, then Windows’95 PC have all proven you can produce very atmospheric and enjoyable Aliens games on the technology of the day, you just need the ideas and desire to do the subject material justice.
