Rockstar have added some cool updates in celebration of the Christmas holiday. The first major, though temporary addition, is the presence of snow all across San Andreas, which will affect driving conditions too due to icy roads. The snow will only last until the end of Christmas Day, before being replaced by the standard weather of that virtual world.
There have been other things added too, including new festive masks featuring Father Christmas, a snowman, and reindeer. These items are only available until January 5th. The phone’s Snapmatic app has also received new filters, borders and expressions, as well as a meme creator and depth of field effect. These camera features will be available in both online and single player indefinitely.
There’s also a sale on in game items with weapons such as grenades, sticky bombs and tear gas are 50% off (also if that sentence hasn’t put me on a list I’ll be surprised). Apartments 29 and 45 in Tinsel Towers are 25% off too. Some luxury sedans are also 30% off, while various clothing apparel are 50% off too.

I’m back home for Christmas until the 29th and my fat PS3’s disc drive is kaput.
Gutted I’ll miss out on the wintry driving conditions. GTA is as close to driving as I get, having not had a car in 7 years :(

Not even been on this since my PS4 took over my life. I was only 24 levels off getting to 100. Haha. Shame the PS4 is too awesome to put down.
