US PSN 14 For ’14 Sale Offers Incredible Savings – Killzone: Mercenary for $9

Sony are launching a huge sale involving 28 total games on the US store this month, with 14 PS3 games and 14 PS Vita games going on sale. There are some massive savings and ridiculously low prices, with a sale which truly rivals the Steam sales.

Generally, most things are about half price and then half again if you’re subscribed to PlayStation Plus, which makes the sale even more worthwhile.

  1. I really hope this comes to EU. I want the walking dead on my vita!

    • Yes, the EU. Remember, Blair, it’s SCEE, not SCEUK. If these sales do migrate across the pond, they won’t just be for people in the UK.
      ;)

    • Got it for €9 during 12 deals of Xmas. ‘Tis good!

  2. I’m a bit annoyed about missing killzone on ps vita sale over Christmas as it was about £13? Hope they do something similar in the UK as I’d definitely pick it up if it was on sale.

Would pick up Spelunky as well.

Only really been using my vita for remote play of late as I’ve not thought much about the ps plus content over the last few months and nothings really stood out to buy apart from maybe Hotline Miami which I’m considering.

    • Ditto re KZ.

Kicking myself now – been bidding for it on eBay & it is near enough going for full whack by the time bidding closes.

Would still prefer the physical copy (my poor memory card!) but for that price, I would splash out on another card.

  3. if Enslaved is available for a comparable price here i will have to buy it.

    • Completed that on the XBOX 360 was a great game.

      • Reminds me, must complete the Pigs Perfect 10 DLC.

  4. I find it a little annoying how they’re unwilling to offer any kind of discount at all for PS4 titles. They were excluded from the January sale, now this! I understand it, but it iritates me!
Good bargains to be had up there for anyone still interested in PS3 gaming though (or for the Vita for that matter).

    • They had a flash sale in the us which included Lego marvel for $40 which I bought a psn card for only to have it expire the next day when I had my card. Still have the $50 begging to be spent.

  5. Still think the EU sale offered more… Nothing for my US account here. Overall it seems Sony worldwide is getting the hang of discounts!

  6. Even if that sale comes to EU i already have the ones i want, great deals though.

  7. Xillia’s price looks really good, might actually bother with a psn card for that one.

  8. Great deals, curiously does anyone buy PS+ for their US accounts as well as a localised subscription? Would seem a bit of a lavish expense to me.

  9. Instabuy Mercenaries for that price, same for Enslaved and Sly Cooper.

    We can hope!

  10. I will be definitely getting Tales of Xillia and Crysis 3. I was holding out for the Tales of Xillia collectors edition but this will do just fine.
