A gameplay video for EA Sports UFC featuring very little in gameplay but quite a lot of developer chat.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has revealed his cunning business plan and which platforms Grand Theft Auto V may end up on next. “If that is where consumers are, absolutely [we’ll release our game on that],” he said.

Cunning eh? Apparently, ‘We’re going to release a game on whatever platform has lots of users’ is headline news, rather than common sense.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is getting some fresh faces with three brand new multiplayer characters: The Siren, The Stowaway, and The Shaman.

Invizimals is coming to PS3 and PS Vita in the shape of Invizimals: The Alliance and Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom. We knew about that, but it has also been hinted that the third PSP Invizimals game will also appear on the Vita.

Fez on PS4 runs at 1080p and 60fps, which it really should do, if a simple platformer can’t run at full pelt on our shiny new consoles then something is amiss.

Fact of the Day: God of War was originally called At the Hands of the Gods.

Kurt Sutter, writer of the Sons Of Anarchy TV show has said much touted but so far unseen game is absolutely happening (no it isn’t).

“I cannot give you any more details, but I will tell you that there will definitely be an SOA game, and it’s pretty fucking awesome,” he tweeted (no it wont be).

“No, it’s not a board game,” he continued, “First person, action adventure. HD graphics. It represents the evolution of gaming” he added (not it will not).

“I’m hard just typing this,” he concluded (oh dear lord you probably were).

The Codemasters Twitter feed has been somewhat feisty recently and collaborated with the equally amusing Waterstones Oxford Street Twitter to create a brand new fictional Dizzy game. The plot for “Dizzy and the Waterstone” finds Dizzy as a retired boxer whose family have been kidnapped by the evil promoter, Zaks.

  1. I’d love an open world, third person, Sons of Anarchy game. I loved Lost and Damned for GTA IV but to have the same type of Game in the SoA world would be amazing. But I’m as sceptical as the article. It will never happen & even if it does it will most likely be awful.

  2. I wish Take Two would just hurry up and announce their plans for a GTA V on PC, or at least tell us where we stand. I’ve held off buying the game for nearly 5 months now, if they’d been open from the start I would have probably already picked it up!

    • I might be wrong but hasn’t this been the same strategy since GTA3? I can’t remember whether San Andreas on the PC suffered the same delay, I remember getting it though and staying up all night causing mayhem.

I briefly got excited about Fez news, then saw that the news was limited to some of TC’s frustrated faciciousness. There seems to be so little news out there about the Vita version, my itch remains unscratched.

      • The PC version has always been released several months later, but I hate how Take Two are staying quiet with stupid comments like “We’re going to release a game on whatever platform has lots of users” – even before release there was a PC petition that got loads of signatures, so I don’t get why they’re ignoring PC gamers.

      • They’re probably struggling to climb over the mountains of cash to get to the computers and email about the impending news.

      • Hmm, very sad when it’s all about money but you’re probably right Mile. Gazza, it’s worth waiting for, that’ll mean next to nowt to you now but when you’re 3 hours into the game you’ll definitely have forgotten all the frustration :)

  3. Please take down the Buck 22 video NOW! You could have at least posted a bit of Buck 65 – Indestructible Sam……..

  4. And Fez on Vita?….

  5. @TuffCub – your use of parentheticals in the SOA section had me dying :) Brava!
