There has already been a lot of hype for Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and with its more realistic medieval setting, large battles and castle sieges who can really say it doesn’t deserve it. When the game was first revealed Warhorse had planned it for PC, and had made an announcement that it would try to get the game on the PS4 and Xbox One. That time for waiting is over as both Microsoft and Sony have approved Kingdom Come: Deliverance for release on their new gen consoles, with the above video showing the unboxing of the One’s dev kit.
This has brought about a few changes to the those who backed the game on Kickstarter. Those who have backed a digital copy tier will be able to choose which platform to get Kingdom Come: Deliverance on. For those who backed a boxed version of the game it will be a bit more difficult as you’ll receive all the boxed item content but a disk for the console version may not happen, instead a digital copy being issued instead. Alpha will be Windows only while the beta is only confirmed for Windows/Mac/Linux. A console beta is being considered but remains unconfirmed.
