Not much to go on then but that has not stopped the TSA staff putting their heads together and making some purely speculative guesses based on rumours, the direction of the wind and the price of cheese.
Adam went for Grand Theft Auto V, with a PC version almost certain then porting to the PS4 should not prove too much of a problem. Sony Santa Monica has yet to produce an original PS4 game so I am going to gamble on a rebooted God of War, without shouty and unlikable Kratos.
Aran suggested Medievil, which I presume was a joke, and then more sensibly, Wipeout. Teffers took a punt on LittleBig Planet whilst our esteemed editor Blair, the man who runs the whole joint, suggested.. Super Rub’a’Dub 2.
Apparently there is something big being revealed at 2pm today, “the biggest news of the year”, I have no idea what it is but it may be related to this news.
What do you think the series may be? Remember, it is “of massive significance” so it is not going to be Crash Bandicoot.

Hope it isnt God of War , really couldnt get into that series at all. Would be nice to see Crash Bandicoot and Wipeout return or Jet Set Willy III to finally get a release date.

‘Massive’ and ‘finally’ could be the best hints. GTA V or Gran turismo fit the bill there.

GT6 was never actually ruled out for PS4 and they are making way in the server department with GT5’s closures, and let’s face it next gen Playstation desperately needs a solid Racer. Although I’d be surprised personally to see anything other than GT7 for PS4 in a year or two!

Much as I’d like GTA on ps4, I just don’t buy it; it’s not really unexpected and not that significant.
Wipeout is a series that’s been synonymous with PlayStation forever. It was in development for ps4 before being canned. I’m hoping for a wipeout VR announcement: limited edition Qirex-branded headset, anyone?
