Fez Launching On PS3, PS4 And PS Vita Later This Month

Fez is finally releasing on PlayStation, and you don’t have long to wait. Blit Interactive have been working with Polytron to port the game to all three platforms, taking time to make a C++ conversion. That means the game will release on PS3, PS4 and PS Vita on March 26th.

It’ll run at native resolution on PS Vita, and at 720p and 60fps on PS3, while the PS4 version is described as the “best-looking and smoothest” experience available on a TV set and runs at once again 60fps, but with a higher resolution of 1080p.

There aren’t any major additions in these versions, though it makes use of the DualShock 4’s lightbar to bring you closer to the game, and there’s even 3DTV support too.

It’ll feature cross-save, which means you can jump from one platform to another, even on the go, and definitely sounds like the definitive version of Fez to buy.

  1. Polytron’s web site says cross-buy too!

  2. Will be picking this up for Vita, definitely.

  3. This sounds as a Vita day one for me.

  4. Loved this on 360

  5. Winner winner chicken dinner.

  6. Yeah!! Fez me up baby! Bugger giving up games for lent, who’d do that? Not me!

  7. Yay, another blocky indie game that wouldn’t have been out of place in 1996, just what we all spent £400 for!
Sorry but we need less of these and more big AXA games please!

    • AND even!

    • Wow, this is not going well! AAA! AAA! That’s better, stupid auto correct and my lack of proof reading!

      • Totally agree, although this does look better than all the other junk. Shame it will cost £12 or something ridiculous.

    • I didn’t pay £400 for my vita??

    • It’s almost as if a Vita is the better investment so far this year.

      • It has really hit its stride thus year. Lots of good games.

      • I agree, I was very disappointed with the games around Christmas 2012 but really pleased with the selection that’s available this year! Ideally I’d like more ports of classic big budget EA games like SSX, Mirrors Edge and other Need for Speeds, but maybe things are best as they are as I’d say on average the quality of Vita games (dodgy minis aside) is way ahead of all other consoles .

  8. Cross buy sounds good.

  9. So, 30FPS on Vita then.
