Watch Dogs Will Support Eight People In Open World Multiplayer

Yesterday Ubisoft officially announced the new release date of Watch Dogs yesterday, with the open world hacking title now coming out on May 27th except for Wii U, which still has a delay. Yesterday’s trailer focused on the single player story of the game which seemed interesting, but nothing about the multiplayer which will also be part of the game. Now Watch Dogs’ Creative Director, Jonathan Morin has given a new detail in response to a fan query.

There’s not much detail as to how the players will interact with each other in this open world environment, but if it turns out to be anything like Grand Theft Auto V which supports 16 players, then expect people trying to beat you and gain the best stuff in anyway possible.

  1. Only 8 players online? Pathetic!

  2. I definitely dont want people interfering in my single player game, but once ive finished, it would be fun to play, what is essentially hide and seek, with friends.
