Creative Assembly has announced that Alien: Isolation will be releasing on October 7th, with the news coming from the EGX Rezzed panel about the game. The game will be coming to PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.  It’s fitting that an iconic series that is embracing the horror aspect for Isolation is releasing in the month of Halloween, and at a time where it will get dark quicker.
Creative Assembly’s Alistair Hope  commented on the reveal:
We couldn’t be happier to finally announce a date for Alien: Isolation. The reaction we have seen so far has been simply incredible, from the screams and shrieks to the cold sweats and racing hearts. It’s the Alien game that we’ve always wanted to play and we can’t wait to let everyone get their hands on it this fall.”
There’s quite a lot of anticipation for Alien: Isolation in the hope that it will be able to truly capture the Alien as a legitimately scary foe, and also give off an atmosphere of fear. Of course we won’t know if Creative Assembly has truly hit the sweet spot until the game releases.
