A couple of days back Ubisoft released a new trailer for Watch_Dogs entitled ‘Welcome To Chicago,’ and it looked quite impressive. At the time of release it wasn’t clear from which version of the game this footage had been captured from, but today the game’s creative director, Jonathan Morin, took to Twitter to clarify.
Just to clarify: Our “Welcome to Chicago” trailer is indeed PS4 Devkit footage. I know this was a popular question so there you go :).

There you have it then. Of course even though this footage was captured from the PS4 dev kit version of the game it will be interesting to see if the Watch_Dogs does live up to the footage above, because that looks quite impressive for a dynamic open world game. The lighting effects by themselves look fantastic as do some of the explosions, though there were a couple of points where some of the the text looked a bit out of focus, though that could just have been me.
Watch_Dogs will be releasing on May 27th for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U.

That looks great. Especially how individual people feel. I’ll easily take “half decent graphics” over something stellar, knowing that the characters on the street have far superior AI and make the game more believable. Thankfully, the graphics look top-drawer too.
