Football Manager Classic 2014 Will Have A Dedicated Vita Bundle

Football Manager Classic 2014 for Vita is releasing this Friday, 11th April, and now Sports Interactive’s Miles Jacobson has announced that there will be a bundle available from April 17th. The bundle will include a Vita 2000, a voucher for a digital copy of Football Manager Classic 2014, and a 4GB memory card.

A price hasn’t yet been announced but it may likely be just shy of the £200 mark considering the new Vita’s RRP is £180. It’s a good business move due to the huge fanbase that Football Manager enjoys already, and if someone sees this bundle in stores it may push them to buy a Vita. However, it may also backfire as even though the OLED model has been officially discontinued you can still pick them up from between £100 to £140, a 4GB memory card for approximately £9, and you can pre-order Football Manager 2014 Classic for £25, which works out cheaper than the new Vita by itself.

  1. It’s the kind of game I’d want on cartridge, not on memory card so I can just leave it in.
I really need to get a bigger memory card, the 8gig I have just isn’t cutting it!

    • Like I said below 32gb isn’t too great so 8gb would be tough. I felt the pain you had before but couldn’t last long. Nothing worse keep deleting and downloading.

  2. The only thing really with this is the Vita 2000 has a far superior battery life which would be ideal for it but 4gb memory is a real waste of time. I couldn’t survive with 32gb now luckily I got 64gb but don’t think that will be to good.

    • I’m not a Plus subscriber or a big spender but my 16GB card is already full after just 4 months, I blame the brilliant sales! Sony really need to discontinue the woefully tiny 4 and 8 GB cards, start bundling the 16GB with the consoles and shave 15-20% off the 32 and 64GB cards’ RRPs, that would show a good understanding of how most of us are using our Vitas, as well as making it easier for us to buy more games! Complaints aside, it’s good to see the 2000 finally making it into a bundle.

      • Yes there does need to be some major price reductions on memory cards. It is annoying with PS+ not enough space even on 32gb.
It is good to 2000 a bundle but that needs a major drop in price to around sub £150 mark.

      • A huge opportunity was missed with the Vita redesign by not including standard SD memory card support, Ninty seem to think that they work!
