Sony has gone and trademarked something called Bloodborne, and all we know about this title is that it will be a game. Other than that all we can do is speculate as to what this game is about, and where it will be unveiled. The most obvious answer to the latter would be E3 during the press conference in about six weeks time, though without knowing how big of a title this is it could be revealed partway through conference or as the finale. Then again maybe it isn’t ready to be shown so soon, and we’ll have to wait for gamescom or Tokyo Game Show. However, since it’s Sony Computer Entertainment America that has filed the trademark TGS would be an outside bet.
The term blood borne refers to diseases that can be spread due to contamination of blood or other bodily fluids. This could point to a game that will likely have some kind of apocalyptic scenario. Maybe this will be the retail name for H1Z1. Then again this could include other mythical creatures like vampires or werewolves. After all a bite from either can inject a human’s bloodstream with a disease required to turn that person into either of those beasts.
This could be a huge PS4 exclusive, a cross generational AAA title, or a game with a smaller budget. We’ll find out eventually but it’s fun to guess.

Best to have low expectations (and then be positively surprised), it’ll be a mobile game.
