These Space Hulk: Deathwing Screens Are Suitably Dark And Menacing

Space Hulk: Deathwing is a FPS set in the universe of Warhammer 40,000, and has been developed on Unreal Engine 4 by Streum On Studio, the team behind E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy.

The game places you at the head of a squad of Space Marines who are exploring the claustrophobic corridors of a Space Hulk.

Players take on the role of a Space Marine from one of the most secret and most feared Space Marine Companies: the Deathwing from the Dark Angels. Strap on your Terminator armour and equip the emblematic weaponry of the Space Marines to overcome the threats awaiting you in the Space Hulk.

As a Librarian, you will also master the destructive powers of the Psykers. Your skills and performance in battle grant you Fervor Points, to spend on 4 skill trees allowing you to improve your abilities, unlock new powers, access powerful relics and devastating new weapons.

Platforms and a release date have not been confirmed but Unreal Engine 4 runs on PC, Xbox One and PS4 so it might turn up on those platforms, the screenshots look too polished for last gen consoles.

  1. If the screens are anything to go by, this looks really promising. All too often I find that games set in the Warhammer universe end up looking like animated versions of actual toy soldiers. The strange waddling effort currently on Steam (for 24 quid!!) is a fine example of how not to make a Space Hulk game look.

  2. I completely forgot about this. Looks nice

  3. We need a sequel to Relic’s Space Marine game (WAAAAAAAAGH!), a solid game with bags of potential, if only because it ended with one of the last generation’s greatest cliffhangers…

I need to know what happened to Captain Titus!

  4. Oh man, I need this on PS4.

  5. Ooooooooo…….. Didn’t know anything about this! Fingers crossed it turns out half decent.
