Bloodborne Looks Exactly How We Expected

Bloodborne is one of the many new games making its way to PlayStation 4 in 2015. Sadly, when announced at Sony’s E3 press conference, much of the surprise had been sapped away due to leaked screenshots and footage prior to this year’s expo.

If that wasn’t bad luck enough, it appears that during Bloodborne’s behind closed-doors demonstration, someone managed to grab even more footage, as seen below.

For those who are even vaguely familiar with Demon’s Souls and its two follow-ups, the comparisons are clear. Though it may be set in a slightly more modern era, the gameplay, character movement, and all-round flavour of Bloodborne trace back to Hidetaka Miyazaki’s original Souls game.

Bloodborne is, however, said to be faster with combat more focused on offence as opposed to dodging and countering.

Chances are, the game will make another spotlight appearance at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.

  2. Holy shit that looks next gen. This and Uncharted (which was in engine) look really good. Should be a good year for PS4 :)
