Grasshopper Manufacture and Suda 51 revealed PS4 exclusive Let It Die during the Sony E3 conference, though not much information was given about the game at all. Now information has come via a Destructoid interview that the game will be free to play when it releases in 2015. Also unlike previous Suda 51 games like Killer Is Dead and Shadows Of The Damned, Let It Die won’t have as big a focus on story or characters. This is mainly because the other characters you face will be other players.
There’s mention that the enemies you face will be built from player data instead of standard AI, and when you kill another player you have the chance to steal their weapons and armour. There may be a beta to help build up the data available, which will allow for more variety of enemies. The logo features a skateboarding image of the Grim Reaper, and apparently he will be part of the game, though in what way is unknown.
