PS4 Exclusive Let It Die Hits 3 Million Downloads

Let It Die, the free-to-play PlayStation 4 exclusive, has been downloaded more than 3 million times according to the game’s official Twitter feed.

Developed by Grasshopper Manufacture (Killer Is Dead, Lollipop Chainsaw, No More Heroes), the action RPG launched last December to moderate praise from critics.

Featuring a Souls-like combat system, the game has players battling their way through a tower of depraved maniacs and monsters. Despite its bizarre systems and somewhat confusing micro-transactions, fans have stuck with it, Grasshoppper and GungHo continuing to roll out regular updates and events.

  1. I really enjoyed it for a while, it’s got a lot of character and some really good mechanics. But then as I got quite far through the tower, it started getting really hard and would cost quite a lot in micro transactions to continue to progress, so I deleted it.

I’d definitely advise people to give it a go though, if only to meet Uncle Death.
