WeView Verdict: Ratchet & Clank: Nexus

Unfortunately our latest WeView didn’t generate a lot of responses. With many of our readers undoubtedly glued to last week’s goings on in LA, only three of you weighed in with your opinions of Ratchet & Clank: Nexus. However, from the comments its safe to say that it was a largely positive affair.

JR kicked things off saying that Ratchet and Clank was one of their “favourite game franchises ever”. Nexus clearly wasn’t a disappointment for them; “from the brilliant cinematic intro” they “knew it was going to be something special”. JR was a big fan of the “great plot” which kept things moving, and the crazy weaponry on offer. Their only criticism was that it was over too soon. JR summed Nexus perfectly saying that “It’s basically more of the same but when the same is so good, who cares?”.

Freezebug2 was next to weigh in with their thoughts, and was again really impressed with Ratchet and Clank. “It was a brilliant little game, concise and to the point”. They were quick to point out in was released as a budget title, which justified the short length of the game. Despite that it was “worth every penny”, and the graphics were also “lush”.

Last up was Phizzy who again pointed out the short length of the game, although that didn’t stopping them from loving it – ” a great, although smaller than usual slice of classic Ratchet & Clank gameplay”.

Ratchet and Clank: Nexus, it seems, is a great addition to the Ratchet and Clank series, despite being a shorter than usual experience. The game picked up three Buy It votes, so it is definitely worth a go. For more on Nexus be sure to check out full written review.
