PlayStation Store Kicks Off Four Weeks Of Summer Sales

Sales are quite a regular sight on the PlayStation Store these days, and there’s often a month-long string of offers that try to tempt you into spending a bit of cash. This week sees the start of the imaginatively titled Summer Sale, which is a sale that is taking place during the summer.

It’s perhaps quite notable for featuring quite a number of discounts for PlayStation 4 games, though all of these come for EA games and associated DLC. Battlefield, FIFA 14, NBA Live 14, Madden NFL 25 and Need for Speed Rivals all drop from £54.99/€69.99 to £29.99/€34.99, while Battlefield and Need for Speed see roughly 30% knocked off their DLC (Battlefield 4 Premium and Dragon’s Teeth do not feature). While not the most amazing deals, they’re at least pretty competitive with retail, between now and when these offers end on 20th August.

Moving on to the PS3 and PS Vita, and the offers going live today continue until 8th August. NASCAR 14 drops to £15.99/€19.99, just a few months after release, and the Watch_Dogs Season Pass is at £9.99 on PS3, while you can grab The Walking Dead Season One and Two for £6.49/€7.99 and £7.99/€9.99 respectively, but aside from those, there’s not too much that leaps out at me. Aliens: Colonial Marines is quite laughably stuck at £7.99/€9.99.

Let us know if there’s anything that tickles your fancy from the full list – minus all of those shortcut bundles:
