The Evil Within was announced just over a year ago, and since then Bethesda has been  showing us snippets of the horror title from Shinji Mikami. The game was originally supposed to release at the end of the month but was pushed back to the end of October. However that date was then brought forward a couple of weeks to the middle of October. The game has been seen has having some promise, even though according to Stefan’s hands on “it’s obvious there’s some work to be done.”
The video itself takes place during Chapter 9 so quite a bit into the game, and it does show a mix of puzzles and the monsters you’ll encounter. There’s a moment around the 42nd mark where an enemy doesn’t stop coming, though that may have been down to the slightly off aiming of the gun.
