FuturLab Celebrate 1 Million Downloads On The PSN

The plucky ladies and chaps of FuturLab have announced that their games have been downloaded over one million times on the PSN, and that’s just in Europe.

“When we embarked on our first title for PSP Minis, the only advice we were given was that as a small team we were on the wrong platform, but I couldn’t accept that,” said James Marsden, FuturLab Managing Director and purveyor of excellent hugs.

“By producing a stream of nine critically acclaimed games in the space of four years, this milestone shows that small teams with talent, ambition and commitment can build IP and successful businesses within the PlayStation ecosystem,” he added.

Rather than go for a slap up meal and lots of vodka, them team have decided to celebrate their success by working even harder and are looking to hire a new art bod and programmer.

FuturLab’s Velocity 2x is one of the very few games awarded 10/10 by TSA so we cannot wait to see what they are working on next.

  1. I’ve not tried all their games but the games I have played are genuinely some of the most enjoyable and addictive games out there. The talent in that team is quite fantastic and with them being a smaller team, they seem so accessible and friendly. Just follow them on twitter to see what I’m talking about.

  2. Congrats to James and all the team at FuturLab on reaching this notable milestone – just stop giving the games away on plus and you’ll have plenty in the kitty for celebrations! ;)

  3. Deserve every single accolade they can get.
Futurlab are a team of future industry leaders.
