Shinji Mikami’s new horror seems to have been quite a success, with our review scoring it 8/10. It’s certainly a return to form when compared to the last couple of Resident Evil games, at least; a true survival horror which will chill you to the bone. We rounded out our review with:
Despite borrowing a lot of well-worn themes from other games and movies (Hello, creepy shop mannequins from Silent Hill), The Evil Within feels fresh and exciting. It’s easy to recommend to fans of the original Dead Space and the earlier Resident Evil games.

It’s Minecraft, again! Only this time it’s on PS Vita. Should be an interesting one, that.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel | PS3, Xbox 360, PC | Friday
Borderlands is back, and it’s more of the same rather than a true revolution by the looks of things, releasing on previous generation consoles and PC only. But this time you’re on the moon! And at least a Handsome Jack is back, eh?
