Nintendo’s brand new IP, Splatoon, which for once doesn’t focus on their usual set of characters and instead takes the form of an online-based territorial shooter, has received a new trailer.
This actually covers the campaign mode, which looks to have plenty of puzzling and platforming alongside the ink mechanics and squid transformation. This will be a single player campaign, and the multiplayer mode is still said to be the main focus of the title. A bit like Call of Duty, then. Just with lots of ink instead of Kevin Spacey.
It will be available in the second quarter of 2015 – expect that to be around next summer
