Dragon Age: Inquisition Launch Trailer Gives A Quick Tour Of The Game’s World

The launch trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition has just gone live, and it gives a a brief look at the various environments that have been packed into the third entry of the series. You’ll also see the main characters, both familiar and new, as well as scenes of war as armies clash, and of course dragons fighting each other as well as everything else. Inquisition has reviewed incredibly well across the board, and we’ll have our thoughts on it soon.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is one of my personally anticipated titles in recent memory. I lost a huge amount of time to Dragon Age: Origins, as well as DAII, and Inquisition looks like it will be similar to Origins in terms of the scope and location variation. Dragon Age: Inquisition is out tomorrow in North America, and later this week in Europe for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

  1. Nice trailer.
Completely ruined by that warbling whinge merchant struggling their way through a (usually) lovely song.
Who ever thought that was a good idea should be beaten with Louis Armstrong’s trumpet.

After it had been stuffed down the vocalist’s throat.

  2. Didn’t mind the wailing banshee and loved the visuals in the trailer. We’re downloading it here as I type this. 24GB (pre-load) install size for the PC version, I believe.

    • I’m just waiting on my Driveclub refund to go into my wallet then i’ll buy it.
      Really looking forward to it.

  3. The environments seem to look wonderful. I’ve got the PS4 version pre-ordered, just gotta wait for that timer to go down.

  4. I can’t wait for this, Origins is one of my favorite games of all time. I just have 2 thoughts in my mind 1) Don’t be like DA2. 2) Please don’t be broken like so many other games have been this year (*COUGH* Driveclub *COUGH*). Don’t know why I bothered getting Cod:AW and AC: Unity recently, if this lives up to expectations it will have a near permanent place in my PS4’s disc drive.

  5. After the abomination that was Dragon Age II, I’m still not convinced by this.

And yes, it seems to have good reviews. Currently having score of 89 on Metacritic. But does that mean much when DA2 had a score of 82?

But it looks nice and it’s big and has lots to do. And that first “fully gay” character, which ignores what happened in the previous games? Definitely gay characters there.

Does it have a season pass? They tend to go for more expensive DLC don’t they? Might be a “wait for the GOTY edition” game.

    • You only have to watch a YouTube video or two. I watched the VideoGamer lads play through around 40 minutes of it and was sold. My other half is itching to try it out as she’s a huge Dragon Age fan. Hated DA2 as well (along with most people, it would seem).

For the sake of a YouTube video, you can find out whether you can finally let go of the bitter past. :-)

      • Ok, so I tried your suggestion.

You just cost me 40 quid.

  6. Have to admit I’ve still not played a Dragon Age game. Looks good, maybe it’s time to start…
