Moon Studios has announced that it needs more time for Ori & The Blind Forest, which is set to release on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC now in 2015. The news comes via a statement on the game’s official site, and along with it the studio as re-released the E3 trailer on its Youtube channel, with the footage running at 60fps.
While we’re extremely excited for all of you to get your hands on Ori and the Blind Forest as soon as possible, we made the decision together with our partners at Microsoft Studios that we’ll need just a little more time in order to add a final layer of polish to – what we hope – will be an unforgettable gaming experience.
So far, we’ve given you small glimpses of Ori atE3, Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show and we’re looking forward to inviting you on this journey when we’ll be releasing Ori and the Blind Forest Early 2015 exclusively for Xbox One and PC and later that year also for Xbox 360.
As a fan of 2D platformers I really like the look of Ori & The Blind Forest, so I’ll probably pick it up at some point when it eventually releases. If you want to read more about the game then you can check out Blair’s preview of it from last month after he got his hands on it at EGX.
