Microsoft spent a fair amount of their 2014 Gamescom conference on console-exclusive content, and Ori and the Blind Forest is another example. The gameplay demo showed a vertical platforming stage, where the player had to quickly bounce from ledge to ledge and jump to higher platforms, while avoiding rising water that was slowly consuming the level. At the very end of the stage, a menacing bird-like creature appears and that’s where the demo ended.
The game was originally announced back at E3, but its release is now slated for this holiday, so you won’t have to wait long to get your hands on it.
